Union Center Samaiti, (UCS), is dedicated to educating the poor children of Haiti in order to improve their standards of living. UCS is a not-for-profit and non-governmental organization working hand-in-hand with families to provide instruction and nutrition through a primary school center. The curriculum at UCS is designed to foster self-reliant citizens who will work to improve their society and ensure a better future.

Through education, nutrition and health we can help the children of Haiti realize their dreams by changing their living conditions and making a difference in the lives of future generations. Our philosophy is… instead of giving them a fish, we teach them how to cast the nets. They in turn will teach others how to fish. According to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, it is an example of "love in action."
